The reason why we began to produce wines in Toro was very simple: we like its wines! Many years ago we had the opportunity of starting to work with the oldest Tempranillo grapes, with a more intense concentration of aromas.

Generic characteristics: A very concentrated dry red wine, with very notable fruit aromas, full of nuances of fine woods and spices, a robust palate with firm, mature and polished tannins that give a long finish.

Type of soil: Slopes oriented south-east over the River Duero. Sandy-loamy soil with abundant cobbles in its first horizon, and clayey in the second horizon.

Serving temperature: Between 16 and 18ºC.

Pairings: A very concentrated dry red wine, with very notable fruit aromas, full of nuances of fine woods and spices, and a robust palate with firm, mature and polished tannins that give a long finish.
It combines well with hearty stews and sauces. Beef, game and white meat.
Exceptional with cured cheeses and fine hams.
Recommended cooking methods: stews, roasts and grilled and char-grilled meats.
